We accept returns on new, unopened items within 7 days from delivery date for a full refund minus shipping charges. Surplus Two Way Radios will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (i.e. you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
We also accept returns on used and refurbished items within 7 days from the day the order is received. Customer will be responsible for return shipping charges unless the item was defective or not as described.
The product will need to returned in undamaged (open packages are considered damaged and carry a minimum 20% re-stocking fee plus the shipping cost deduction) condition in the original box with all materials, parts, cords, manuals and package inserts. Please double box your returns. For your protection, please use insured USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx with tracking numbers for return shipment. Surplus Two Way Radios reserves the right to make the determination of undamaged condition and may reduce the credit to you if the item is not returned in undamaged condition or if all contents of the product are not returned. Credits will be issued in the same way you originally paid for the items. You should expect to receive your refund within 1 week or less, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
On both new and used equipment, shipping costs will be deducted from refunds on orders that come with free shipping.
All returns must have a RMA number. To obtain a RMA number, you must contact us via telephone (714) 662-7433 or email at sales@surplusradios.com.
All sales are FINAL on the following (NO EXCEPTIONS):
- An item has been activated.
- The UPC code has been removed from any packaging.
- Headsets and ear tips, if opened (they can only be returned in unopened packages).
- Programming fees and service.
**Please note - Refused shipments are subject to a $25 return fee.
